I cannot access the hpw200 to set up security and it is running unsecured. I have tried the IP address 192.168.1.1 with no success although I can address my router via its IP address. How can I gain access to the configuration settings ?
The default IP address for the wireless homeplugs is 192.168.1.1 which unfortunately is the same as most routers default gateway. Try connecting to the wireless homeplug with your router turned off and therefore eleminating IP address conflicts. Another option would be to change the routers default gateway IP.
