HDMI + DisplayPort AOC with detachable hoods

Active optical cables (AOC) are cables with modules in the connector heads that convert electrical signals to light. Unlike passive copper cables, which send electronic signals directly down the internal copper wire.

These two ranges come with detachable hoods to reduce the connector size to fit through small spaces, once fed through you can then fit the standard hood again.

The AOCDET-DP range of cables are Active Optical Cables that have a detachable hood to reduce down to mini DisplayPort for feeding through ducting or small spaces, these connectors are screwed together so you will need a small screwdriver to separate them, you then need to attach the metal DP hood again for use with DP equipment.

The AOCDET-HDMI range of cables are Active Optical Cables that have a detachable hood to reduce down to micro HDMI for feeding through ducting or small spaces, they come with a protective case to protect the pins while feeding through, you then need to attach the metal HDMI hood again for use with HDMI equipment.

Should power be needed at the display end, these come with a USB power cable.
