USB C ADAPTERS

Wondering why your new phone/tablet/laptop has only USB C as a connection?

The USB Type C port has a variety of functions and eliminates needing a number of ports (e.g previously Micro USB B and 3.5mm Stereo on phones/tablets and various ports found on laptops). The problem with this is that adapters are needed to continue using your older equipment. For new devices this means additional adapters can be used.

We have a variety of new adapters for these purposes.

The USB3C-3PHUB-AUD is a USB Type C to USB 3.0 3 Port Hub with 3.5mm stereo and 3.5mm MIC port. This can be used on a laptop to provide extra USB connectivity as well as 2.1 channel stereo sound. This can also be used on phones and tablets.

The USB3C-35AUDSP is a USB C 3.5mm audio splitter cable for use on laptops or phones/tablets with USB C ports only. This is not designed for use with phones/tablets that already have a 3.5mm stereo port.

The USB3C-MICROB is a compact adapter for use on USB C Phones/Tablets allowing the use of a USB Micro cable that would typically come with older phones. This saves you buying a new USB C cable, while this is USB Type C it uses USB Micro B which is USB2.0 specification.

The USB3C-MICROB90 is a compact adapter for use on USB C Phones/Tablets allowing the use of a USB Micro cable that would typically come with older phones. This saves you buying a new USB C cable, while this is USB Type C it uses USB Micro B which is USB2.0 specification. With it being right angled stress is reduced on a phones/tablets port over using a straight adapter.

The USB3C-PD2 is a compact adapter that allows use in different combinations using audio, Power Delivery (PD) or both.

• Both ports can be used for Power Delivery (when connected to a charger, two devices can be charged)

• One port for audio and other for Power Delivery

• One port for data transfer and other for Power Delivery

• Both ports can be used for audio

A good example of this would be to listen to music from your phone/tablet with USB C headphones and charge at the same time.

PLEASE NOTE: Do not connect two chargers to charge one device.

The USB3C-35AUD is a USB Type C to 3.5mm stereo/MIC cable, this is a passive cable so can only be used on devices with USB Type C ports only. This will not work with devices already have 3.5mm ports.

The USB3C-35AUDPD is a USB Type C to 3.5mm stereo and Power Delivery port, this is a passive adapter so can only be used on devices with USB Type C ports only. This will not work with devices already have 3.5mm ports.

The USB3C-35AUD-IC is a USB Type C to 3.5mm stereo/MIC cable, this is active cable so can be used on all devices with USB Type C ports only and some devices with 3.5mm stereo port too.

The USB3C-STEPBK are passive stereo earphones with MIC allowing you to connect earphones to a phone/tablet etc that have USB type C ports only to enable telephone calls. These earphones will not work with older phones that have a 3.5mm port as well as a USB C port.
